Who we are
SmartMail Manager (“the app”) is published by InteractiveWebs (interactivewebs.com Pty Ltd), Australia. This policy explains how the app handles information. It applies to the iPhone, iPad and Mac versions.
Information the app stores on your device
To connect to your servers, the app stores the details you enter, entirely on your device:
- Server connection details — server addresses, ports and usernames — saved in the app’s local settings.
- Passwords and API tokens — stored in the operating system’s secure keychain (Apple Keychain), not in plain files.
This information never leaves your device except as a direct connection to the server you entered.
Information the app sends over the network
The app communicates only with the mail infrastructure you configure — your SmarterMail server(s) and any linked rspamd gateway — to perform the administration actions you request (viewing status, managing domains and accounts, reviewing spam, and so on). These connections go directly from your device to your server. The app sends no data to InteractiveWebs or to any third party.
What we do not do
- No analytics, tracking, advertising, or usage profiling.
- No third-party SDKs that collect data.
- No selling or sharing of any information.
- No accounts with us — the app has no InteractiveWebs sign-in.
The data on your server
When you use the app to view or manage mailboxes, domains, messages or logs, that content is served live from your own SmarterMail server and is subject to your own server’s policies. The app does not retain copies beyond what is needed to display the current screen.
Deleting your data
Removing a server in the app deletes its stored details and keychain entries. Uninstalling the app removes all data it stored on your device.
Children
The app is an administration tool intended for IT professionals and is not directed to children.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and revise the date above.
